Berlin VC firm Auxxo closes second fund at €33.3M for female-led startups
Auxxo has finished raising its Female Catalyst Fund II at €33.3 million, well above its first fund, and is launching a platform to help women find co-founders.

Berlin-based venture firm Auxxo has closed its second fund, the Female Catalyst Fund II, at €33.3 million – up from the €19 million it raised for its debut vehicle. The firm invests exclusively in teams with at least one female founder, betting that the segment remains structurally underfunded relative to its returns.
Alongside the close, Auxxo is rolling out a pan-European matchmaking platform designed to help women find co-founders and assemble stronger, more diverse founding teams from day one. The firm frames this as addressing a bottleneck earlier than funding itself: many strong solo founders struggle to find the right technical or commercial counterpart.
Why it matters
European funds dedicated to women-led startups are still rare, and a growing second fund is a signal of investor confidence in the strategy. Pairing capital with a co-founder network also tackles a problem many first-time founders face well before their first pitch meeting.
