Investor intros

Warm intros, not cold emails.

When you are ready to raise, Sisters Female Founders makes personal introductions to investors who fit your stage and sector – not a spreadsheet of names to cold-email yourself.

Introductions happen inside the member platform, after you join – this page is here to explain how they work.

How it works

An introduction with a reason behind it.

Matched to your stage

Introductions are made against your stage, sector and round size – not a mass list of every investor in the network.

Personally vetted

A real person makes the introduction and can speak to why it makes sense, on both sides.

Context travels with you

The investor sees who you are and what you are building before the first email – you are not starting from a cold pitch.

Only when you are ready

Intros are not automatic or constant. They happen when you are actually raising, and only where the fit makes sense.

Before your first raise

Investor types, in plain terms.

Not every check is the same kind of money. Knowing who you are talking to helps you ask for the right thing.

Angel investors

Individuals investing their own money, usually at pre-seed or seed. Often former founders or operators – checks tend to be smaller, decisions faster.

Pre-seed & seed VCs

Institutional funds writing the first meaningful check into a company, usually before much revenue exists. They invest in the team and the size of the problem.

Micro-VCs

Smaller funds, often solo-GP or small teams, moving quickly and taking board observer seats rather than full board control.

Strategic & corporate VCs

Investment arms of larger companies. The check often comes with a distribution or partnership angle worth understanding upfront.

Family offices & syndicates

Private capital investing more selectively, frequently alongside a lead investor rather than leading a round themselves.

Inside the platform

Ask for an intro when you mean it.

Once you join, you can flag that you are raising, share your stage and target and request an intro – reviewed by a real person before it goes anywhere.
